We're NJ's Premiere Tri Club!

Welcome to Paramount Multisport! We're a NJ Triathlon/Multisport club based out of Morristown, NJ.  We welcome endurance athletes of all kinds and all ages.. Here's how to get started with us:

Sixth Annual Hills Kids! Triathlon

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS to SIGN UP!!!!!  

8:00 AM - Sunday - June 11th
Hills Recreation Center, 75 Hanson Road, Basking Ridge
Ages 6/7 - 25 yard swim, .5 mile bike, 2/3 mile run
Ages 8/9 - 50 yard swim, 1 mile bike, 2/3 mile run
Ages 10/12 - 100 yard swim, 1.5 mile bike, 1.33 mile run

$25 + $10 USA Triathlon Youth Membership Fee (if child not a member)
On-Line only registration for racers and volunteers at: www.paramountmultisport.com. There will be a limit of 75 racers and no race day registrations - the race has sold out every year

This is non profit event organized by Paramount Multisports Club and sanctioned by USA Triathlon.  It is a fun event focused on participation and will not be timed.  We will have food and refreshments (AND MEDALS) 

 

All Group Training
We all tend to be weekend warriors, trying to get the most training out of our limited time. We have different life schedules, race schedules, training schedules and different ability levels in swim/bike/run.  But one of the main reasons we all joined the HIVE, is to find training opportunities with other members.  It is safer, more fun and we all can learn something from one another. 

So with that in mind, we encourage all members to post their weekday / weekend training opportunities on our Club's Facebook page to encourage Group Participation. You never know when you will hook up with the perfect training partner(s).

 To make it easier for members to understand the expectations of any particular workout, we ask that you follow a simple template when posting:

For Bike Rides Indicate the following:  
Distance / Ave. Speed / Drop vs. No-Drop / Elevation / Link to Route / Trail or Road / 
Start Time / Start Location
(Example: 30 miles @ Ave. 17mph, no-drop ride / 2500 ft climbing / 6am @ Loantaka - South St Parking Lot + GPS Route Link)

(Note:  A stated ride that averages 16 mph means that will be the average speed for the ENTIRE RIDE.  So the group will be going faster than 16 mph on flats and descents and slower on ascents, plus this includes stoppage time at intersections, etc.)

For Runs Indicate the following:
Distance or Time / Pace or type of workout (tempo, pickups, negative split, etc.) / Trail or Road /
 Start Time / Start Location / Link to Route  

Remember an "A" rider/runner can always join up with a "B" or "C" ride/run and use it as a recovery day and lead or sweep while helping out other club members.


Weekday Training Options

Tuesday Track Workouts continue and we've had nice turnouts so far! 
 We all can get faster!  John "Chaachi" creates the workout which are held at the Morristown HS Track, weather permitting, at 6:30pm.  Workouts are also posted on our Facebook Group page the day of or day before.   

Justin is running the Tuesday morning Boot Camp at Atlantic Sports Health, 1st Fl., 111 Madison Ave., Morristown, from 5:40 to 7:00am.  $10 walk-in

Wednesday Bike Rides (6AM & 6PM) starting from the Duck Pond in Loantaka Brook Park on Kitchell Rd.
(use 121 Kitchell Rd, Morristown).  Approximately 21 mile route around/thru the Swamp.
All levels are welcome.
